It Can Even Happen To Tennis Stars.

If you are a regular listener of The Kelly Alexander Show, you know that my mom has been dealing with breast cancer since early August 2009. My mom had to go through two lumpectomies and finally a mastectomy to get rid of the cancer. Fortunately, the cancer did not spread to her lymph nodes and currently she is on hormone therapy while being involved in a clinical study that will follow her progress closely for years to come.

Computer Love

There was once a time when online
dating was seen as a last resort for creepy people who couldn't find
a way to meet mates in ‘real life’. Now much of the taboo is gone from the online hook-up; as the popularity of social networking
sites grows, online dating is now seen as normal for the most part.
It's not a big deal. It's also big money, with countless dating

Ring Around The Rosie!

The big news in the daytime talk show world is not just that Oprah Winfrey is retiring her show after being on the air for 25 seasons, but that Rosie O'Donnell will be throwing her hat back into the daytime ring. It's just been announced that Rosie and two well-known TV execs who worked with her last time around are hard at work crafting a show that will premiere right at the time Oprah's former timeslot opens up.

Sandra Hit In The Blind Side

Awww man... I really hope this isn't true, but it's not looking very promising. Reports are surfacing that Jesse James has been cheating on his wife, actress Sandra Bullock, with a tattoo model name "Bombshell McGee." Only in Hollywood. If these reports turn to out to be true, I hope Sandra channels her character from The Blind Side and kicks his a$$ to the curb!

The Cheetah is Back...

Well, well, well...he couldn't stay away very long could he? Tiger Woods has just announced that he will make his return to golf at the upcoming Masters which kick off in early April. I'm sure you're not surprised that Tiger didn't spend much time away from his bread and butter even though he was supposed to take time off to rebuild his relationship with his wife and family.

The Ex-Factor

I’m Geena Lee, and this week’s topic in The Lovezone is about the Ex-Factor.  Yes, how to get over your ex.  Spring is here, it’s time for new beginnings, clearing out the old for the new, yadda yadda.  But really though, you can’t move forward if you’re still stuck in the past.  If you’re truly ready to let go of the emotional baggage, say no to what’s bad so you can say yes to what’s good, here are some steps you need to take to get to that next level of being relationship-ready, or just comfortable with your new singlehood.

End Of An Era!

This man captured our hearts just over a year ago, and now he's calling it a day. Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger, the pilot who landed a disabled passenger plane on New York's Hudson River in 2009, piloted his last flight for US Airways on Wednesday.

No Means Yes

Have you ever been in love with someone who wasn’t in love with you?  Did you stick around, and try to prove to them just how attractive and loveable you are, hoping they would change their heart?  Why do we want those who don’t want us? Why do we hope ‘no’ will eventually become ‘yes’?  What do you call this behavior? Hopeless romanticism? Delusion? Self-torture?

Tweet, Tweet, Tweet & More Tweets!

Not sure how you feel about Twitter and the art of "tweeting," but it looks like this phenomenon is here to stay for the forseeable future. I just read a very interesting article in Forbes magazine about just how many "tweets" are happening on a daily basis. Even if you are not a Twitterer, you can't deny this technology is making waves and connecting people from all over the world.
