Hallelujah - Meet The New Ketchup Packet!
I am thrilled to announce that the Heinz company has redesigned the ketchup packet! Thank heavens, now there is no need to wear a Haz-mat suit to down your burgers and fries! Some interesting facts about this new little contraption: it holds three times the amount of ketchup than the old sachets did and you can either squeeze the packet, or open it up for your dipping pleasure! How amazing is that?
Kelly Alexander Show in The Suburban!
My thanks going out to Mike Cohen of The Suburban for taking an interest in our show and covering it in his column. The team and I are very happy that the show is receiving such positive reviews. We'll continue to work hard and bring you the best programming we possibly can.
Are You Ready - New Apple iPad!
I'm a recent quasi-convert to the Apple brand. I just got my iPhone this past summer and I LOVE it! Now I haven't bought a Macbook yet, I'm still a PC girl, but Apple is starting to win me over. Today was the launch of the brand new iPad. From all accounts I hear it is quite the apparatus, although they are still working through some issues.
Livin' The Life!
I had to share this picture with you, it's my 2 yr old niece Eva. When I took this picture she was just hanging out at her cousin's birthday party looking like a pint-sized diva! She cracks me up and she just loves being a girlie-girl and painting her toenails and dressing up in her funky little outfits.
Moving Your Tailfeathers...
As you know, after the holidays everyone is on a big kick to start off the new year on the right foot. Usually this means wanting to get active and be in better shape. This is an admirable goal to have, but sometimes we all start off with a big burst of energy only to roll to a stop by the end of January once we realize we have to maintain the healthy eating habits and excursions to the gym on a regular basis.
Here We Go - 2010!
What a year this has been, not to mention a decade. Like you, I've had my ups and downs over the past ten years, but looking back I wouldn't trade any of it. As Mommy Alexander often says, "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger." She is indeed right.
Kelly Alexander Show in the Montreal Gazette
The Kelly Alexander Show is very happy to announce that we've been featured in an article in The Montreal Gazette, (December 28th '09). It was a pleasure to have been contacted by Steve Faguy to be a part of his story on podcasts, alongside media veterans Peter Anthony Holder and Mitch Melnick. It is amazing when someone takes an interest in your passion and wants to help spread the word.
Kelly's Non-Christmas, Christmas Movie Picks!
It's A Wonderful Life? Not bad. A Christmas Carol? It's OK, but not all great holiday movies have to tug at your heart-strings. In fact, the best ones don't have much to do with the holidays at all. Below are a few examples:
Off The Beaten Path Christmas Gift ideas!
‘Tis the season when gift lists are everywhere. These so-called guides are usually decided by magazine and newspaper editors who take home tons of free swag in exchange for telling you to buy it. But not me – no one sends me any free stuff (I'm talking to you, Steve Jobs), which makes me completely, 100% untainted.
Glee vs American Idol
Sad news for fans of the Fox TV show "Glee." It has been announced that the last new episode of this fantastic series will air on December 9th before it goes into a mid-season break only to return on APRIL 13th, 2010. The reason for this crazy - the new season of American Idol......ba-humbug!
